Eva Strazdiņa (b.Saukane, 1988) | based in Riga (Latvia) | graduate from ISSP Riga | holds a degree in Master of Arts in Photojournalism from Mid Sweden University (2016) | focuses on visual experimentation, historical photo and video archives and personal stories | teacher of Photography at Riga Art and Media School | member of Baltic Analog Lab | currently Doctoral student in the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art in University of Latvia
Photographer’s work “Roots" is published as a book by the Kultbooks, Sweden, now available at the Tipi Bookshop in Brussels, Le Plac’Art Photo in Paris, Konstig in Stockholm, Cafe Lehmitz Photobooks in Cologne, XYZ Books in Lisbon and other book stores accross the Europe.
Within the framework of Riga Photomonth 2019 Eva Saukane had a solo exhibition - an interpretation of the controversial and unrealized Riga metro project.
Most recently participating in the traveling multimedia group exhibition “Invisible Lives”.
In 2023 photographs selected for the paper issue – Yogurt flavour WILDNESS and for Der Greif "Past&Present" 15th anniversary events.
